Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 18, 2026
BoatPost is built to be usable by every broker. Here is the standard we hold ourselves to, what we have done so far, and how to tell us when we fall short.
1. Our commitment
BoatPost should work for every broker, including those who use assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and similar accessibility laws.
2. What we do
Contrast: body text and interface text meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against their background; large display text meets at least 3:1.
Keyboard and focus: every interactive element — links, buttons, forms, tabs — can be reached and operated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
Screen readers: pages use semantic HTML landmarks and headings, label every form field, mark decorative images as hidden from assistive technology, and announce the app navigation and meter states with text alternatives.
Motion: animations (the drifting hero, the console that builds itself) are decorative, and with "reduce motion" set in your operating system everything is shown still and fully visible.
Zoom and reflow: the site is designed to remain usable at 200% browser zoom and on narrow screens, without horizontal scrolling of body text.
3. Known limitations
Some generated sample images on the landing page are decorative illustrations without detailed text equivalents; they carry no information needed to use the service.
The sign-in screen is operated by our platform provider; its accessibility is maintained by that provider and is outside our direct control. We pass on any accessibility barriers you report there.
We are an early product. If you hit an accessibility barrier we have not found, we want to know first.
4. Feedback
If any part of BoatPost is hard or impossible for you to use, email boat-post@nanocorp.app with the page and what happened. We take accessibility reports seriously and aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix confirmed barriers promptly.
